This whole day workshop demonstrates how to use Lean/Six Sigma/World Class Basics…to deliver World Class Goals in a safe, fun atmosphere. See how a company can go from a traditional business approach where customer satisfaction is desired to implementing lean sigma concepts where customer satisfaction is exceeded. The most fun you can have learning… by far.

Our Lean Sigma Business Simulation© course is an interactive workshop where participants learn the reason for change, the methods of change and the tools and techniques of change. They actually run a business which requires them identify issues, select the appropriate SCM/Lean/Six Sigma tools or techniques to apply and see the results of their efforts. The session is renowned for its ability to get to the “AHA” as well as energize and motivate participants to action.

Speaker Biography:

Patrick Lucansky

Mr. Patrick Lucansky is an Executive Director of Value Innovation Partners, Ltd. an operations improvement consulting firm specializing in the delivery of value through implementation of Lean Enterprise, Six Sigma Rescues and Supply Chain Management tools and techniques. Mr. Lucansky has held a variety of positions in the past including Production Manager and Director of Operations. Pat’s strengths are in Lean Manufacturing, SCM, Out-Sourcing, Business Analysis, Process Mapping & Pharmacovigilance. He holds a BBA from the University of Iowa, an MBA from Illinois Institute of Technology, a CMC from Institute of Management Consultants, is a certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt and teaches at the BA/MBA level in the Chicago area.

Mr. Lucansky has co-authored dozens of articles published in PharmaChem Magazine (An international Pharma Journal) on the subject of Lean operations and one article published in the AME's Target magazine on supply chain redesign. He has presented this session prior to the IIE conference in Seattle 9/02, the AME national conference 11/02, AME Toronto 10/03, ASQ Quality Expo, Lincoln Foundation, NAM, NIQC, IMC National Conference and over 1200 other times to firms like Pfizer, Bayer, Johnson and Johnson, Avery Dennison, Graphic Packaging and ICI-Dulux. He is a member of IIE, IMC, AMA and AME. Pat was the Keynote speaker at the 2003 NIQC conference in Naperville, IL and spoke again there in 2004.

Robert Burke

Mr. Burke is an Executive Director of Value Innovation Partners, Ltd. holds a B.S. in Business Administration, is a certified CPIM from the American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS), is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt and holds an ISO 9000 Assessor certificate. He has held positions ranging from Materials Director, Production and Inventory Control Manager, Master Planner and Machinist. Bob provides training and implementation methods in areas of Lean Manufacturing, Pharmacovigilance, Supply Chain Management, Kaizen, Vendor Managed Inventory, Logistics Planning, Supplier Certification.

Chad Hoffman

Chad Hoffman brings over 20 years of consulting experience as a Director of Project Delivery, Vice President, Business Development and Sr. Projects Manager. Chad's work has included assignments in Asia, Europe, North and South America. He has helped clients develop and implement strategies leading to successful business transformations in the areas of customer responsiveness, process excellence, restructuring for global competitiveness and technology optimization. Mr Hoffman's industry experience includes Lean, Six Sigma, Supply Chain Management, Change Management, Waste Reduction and Cost Containment. Chad brings a deep, practical understanding of the use of innovation and technology to drive sustainable bottom line results. Mr. Hoffman holds a BA from Indiana University; he is a Six Sigma Champion and a graduate of Heiman Strategic Selling Seminar.
