Jerry Fiala, Managing Vice President, Capital One US Card Acquisitions

Jerry Fiala is Managing Vice President of Capital One Financial Corp.'s U.S. Card Marketing Operations group, where he drives the strategy and direction of the company's direct marketing operations through mail, Internet and direct response channels.

Capital One's U.S. Card business is a principal subsidiary of Capital One, a Fortune 500 company that offers a broad spectrum of financial products and services to consumers, small businesses and commercial clients.

During the past decade, Mr. Fiala has held various marketing and operational roles at Capital One. He has also played a key role in driving the adoption of the Lean Six Sigma business process improvement methodology throughout Capital One's credit card business over the past three years.

Before joining Capital One, Mr. Fiala held numerous consumer marketing positions at large corporations including PepsiCo, Sony and Advanta. Mr. Fiala began his career as an optics engineer for Honeywell. Mr. Fiala holds a MBA from Brigham Young University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota.
