How rapid lean implementation along with a significant cultural change took Alaris Medical systems from $500 million in debt to sustained profitability in less than two years. This presentation will cover lessons learned as well as the impact of measuring what is important to success. This presentation will cover KANBAN implementation as well as visual systems and their impact on performance and moral. I will present ideas on team construction and management for a cross functional and highly effective group to lead the production floor.

Gene Streicher, Director, Materials Management

Gene Streicher is retired from the Navy with a background in Nuclear Physics and electrical Engineering.

Gene has six years with Sony in multiple roles including production manager and new product design. Gene also has seven years with Cardinal health in increasing roles of responsibility.

Gene is a member of the Industry Advisory Committee for the University of California, San Diego.
