An aggressive, insightful, well managed supply chain organization can contribute beyond conventional belief in all aspects of a company’s financial success. Challenging your supply chain management team to not only raise the bar in their conventional areas of responsibility, but to provide cutting edge capability directly to other business functions of product development, sales, finance and operations can achieve unimaginable business and financial benefits. This presentation will give specific examples noteworthy enough to effect company annual report results as a direct consequence of the strategy and execution of competition shattering supply chain operations. Documented contributions of these accomplishments are several billion dollars.

Speaker Biography:

Bill Boller, Vice President

William A. (Bill) Boller has worked with dozens of leading Fortune 500 companies in the development of successful domestic and international manufacturing strategies. He has extensive worldwide experience in manufacturing, operations, order fulfillment and supply chain management.

Bill was an executive at Hewlett Packard Co. and in 1999/2000 helped spin off HP’s high technology products to create Agilent Technologies (NYSE: A), the world's premier measurement company and technology leader in communications, electronics, life sciences, and chemical analysis He retired as Vice President and General Manager, Worldwide Order Fulfillment and Manufacturing for Communications Solutions Group.

Previously Bill was Co-Chief Procurement Officer at HP, responsible for all International Procurement and Global Supply Chain Operations. In this role, Bill directed staff covering six continents, responsible to HP divisions worldwide for the development of sourcing and the annual procurement of $19 billion in manufacturing materials and services. Earlier in his career, Bill led start up teams for a number of new HP divisions and businesses.

Bill earned his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University, his M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Southern California and his M.B.A. from Stanford University. He has been an advisor or a member of the board of directors of several different public and private companies. He currently sits on the board of the Military Vehicle Technology Foundation and is on the advisory committees of various other companies and organizations in the U.S. and abroad. He holds several U.S. Patents.
